Download and try it

Android 6.0 or later · about 13.5 MB · free beta download. The iPhone version is planned and isn’t available yet.

1. Open this page in Chrome on your Android phone and tap the download button.
2. Open the downloaded file and choose Install. If you already have this ShotProof beta, choose Update.
3. Open ShotProof 0.9.49 Beta and choose Test Gun & Ammo or Load Development Test.

No payment or account is needed to use the app on your phone. Photos and edits save locally, and the range workflow works offline.

Four steps at the range

1. Select Rifle — choose a saved rifle or add one, and enter your distance.
2. Select Ammo — choose factory ammunition or a handload.
3. Take Target Photo — Print Targets is here before shooting. After shooting, photograph the whole sheet.
4. Your Result — check the calibration and shot circles, correct anything missed, then tap Next Photo or Done. Photos and edits save automatically.

Garmin data is optional.

Print a ShotProof target

Test Gun & Ammo

Try your rifle with a chosen ammunition profile. Keep the target photo and result with that setup, then reopen it through Review Sessions.

Load Development Test

Choose a rifle and saved loads, review and print the labeled target plan, then photograph and check each sheet. Compare the saved results from your test.

Optional: review on your computer

The first 25 Online Lab beta accounts are free. Phone downloads are available without registering. Online Lab sync places are limited to 25 accounts; if those places fill, you can still use the phone app and Export to Computer.

To connect, tap Connect to Online Lab in the phone app. Open Online Lab, sign in to the same account you’ll use on your computer, enter the phone’s current code and approve the connection.

Sync Now stays near the bottom of the app. New and changed targets sync when a connected phone has internet. Export to Computer makes a separate backup.

Help us test it

Try it during two normal range visits. When you reply to your beta invitation, tell us:

• Which Android phone you used.
• Where you got stuck or needed help.
• Whether the saved target and results matched what you expected.
• Whether you’d choose ShotProof again for your next session.

Honest feedback is welcome, including problems and reasons you would stop using it.

This is an early beta. Camera behavior across different phones, background uploads and measurement accuracy in varied conditions still need field testing. Check the printed scale, calibration and shot markers before relying on a result.
